Not Sure if It's an Emergency?
We recommend booking an appointment if you notice any of these symptoms:
- Severe toothache and pain
- Painful infections in your gums or teeth
- Broken or cracked teeth
- Lost fillings, crowns, or bridgework
- Broken or lost appliances (dentures, night guards)
The Importance of Fast Treatment
A dental emergency can get worse in a short period of time without proper treatment. Something that would be considered more minor can escalate to where it is a real issue. In some cases, infections may occur and need treatment alongside the actual emergency that you're dealing with at the moment. This is why Dr. Vartikar recommends quick, adequate treatment as soon as possible.
We Care About Your Comfort
A dental emergency can occur at virtually any time, regardless of how well you take care of your smile. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for many of these emergencies to leave a patient in severe pain and discomfort. For this reason, you'll want to consider coming in for treatment as soon as you notice there's a problem.
Getting treatment doesn't have to add to your stress or discomfort. We offer treatment in a relaxed, highly comfortable setting for patients of all ages, and we want you to know that you're not alone—we're here to help. Our goal is to quickly alleviate your pain and prevent any further complications.
During Your Emergency Treatment
The first thing Dr. Vartikar will do is to ask you about the problem you're currently experiencing. This allows her to see if an x-ray is necessary and, if it is, she will work to take one quickly and easily. She will carefully examine your x-rays and teeth to understand what's causing your discomfort and explain everything to you in a way that's easy to understand. Your treatment will then be administered and, if necessary, antibiotics may be prescribed to address any active infections so you can feel better as soon as possible.
